Arthur Azevedo Prints

Arthur Azevedo is an internationally renowned artist from Zimbabwe and it is a privilege to have examples of his work. Arthur Azevedo was born in Harare, Zimbabwe in 1935 and undertook his early schooling at St John’s and Martindale. Between 1950 and 1954 he trained as a teacher at St. Augustine’s College, Cape Town and then, returning to Harare, taught at Louis Mountbatten School. We have limited edition prints of 8 of his charcoal drawings and 2 Originals.

Nicola's work is inspired by my love of North Norfolk . Variety and experimentation are the main emphasis of my art and from this the local wildlife has become my new passion. I'm continually striving to represent wildlife in a new and exciting way whilst retaining an element of realism. Images are built by applying layers of collage made of different colours and textures. I have always been fascinated by the way different textures affect the paint, the emergence of different layers, revealing or hiding, drawing you into the painting so you always see something different. Nicola graduated from the City and Guilds of London Art School in 1993 with a degree in Decorative/Fine Art.

I carry a range of Sam Toft Limited edition and non limited edition prints featuring her now infamous characters, "The Mustard's", Ernest Hemingway Mustard and his dear lady wife Violet along with their much loved eccentric friends and pets. Using mixed media, pencil, oil pastels, coloured inks and her own idiomatic techniques, Sam depicts a seaside world of faded ice-cream colours where the breeze is always blowing and life is utterly delicious.
