We are a small shop run with the intention of hopefully having a big selection and something for everyone. The ranges are extensive but everything is very carefully selected by Rachel, the owner, who has a great eye for the unusual and original. There is no point selling the same things that you can purchase the length and breadth of the UK so at Tashinga we pat ourselves on the back every time a customer says “Whenever I need something a bit different, I always know I will find it at Tashinga”. Rachel Wells
Rachel opened Tashinga with the help of her husband in May 2000. 23 years, 2 kids and 2 dogs later she is still here although Tashinga has changed and evolved considerably with the changing times.
Rachel is still very hands on and works Wednesday and Friday, Rachel is more likely to be late to opening up but will always hang around after 5:00pm
